David colosi - Jesus takes a long hard look at himself
(and so do you)

2007
David Colosi - Jesus Takes a Long Hard Look at Himself (And so do You)
Icons of Jesus are meant to be stared at. The viewer stares at the image and prays in order to find solace, forgiveness, the answers to his/her prayers, or to praise the divinity. The viewer seeks to see him or herself more clearly in the reflection of the iconic image. I thought success could be better achieved by all if the tasks were divided. The icon could reflect on himself and the viewer could find solace, forgiveness, answers, and divinity in his/her own reflection.
